Professional Background
Kathey worked at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, for five years as a respiratory therapist with emphasis in critical care. She then moved to Medical City Dallas Hospital, where for almost 20 years she provided respiratory care in the Neonatal, Pediatric, Cardiac, and Neuro critical care units with rotations through the Emergency Department. Throughout her career, Kathey has enjoyed the role of preceptor, providing clinical support to new employees and students.
Kathey has been with MD Buyline for 10 years. In addition to the Respiratory, Pulmonary, and Anesthesia product categories, she is responsible for audiology, dialysis, hyperbaric, pulse oximetry, capnography, cerebral oximetry, anesthesia depth monitoring, and portable video laryngoscope products. Kathey also provides support to the Sleep and Neurodiagnostic product lines.
Education
Kathey is a 1978 graduate of South Plains College with a degree in Respiratory Care. She is credentialed through the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
