Supply Chain Horror Stories Contest by MD Buyline Raises Awareness and Donates to Breast Cancer Research

DALLAS, TX — October 9, 2014 — In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Halloween, MD Buyline is launching a contest for the trickiest healthcare supply chain purchasing and negotiation horror stories. As a treat for the scariest tricks, MD Buyline will make a donation to the breast cancer foundation of each winner’s choice.

Participants are encouraged to provide an explanation of a purchasing decision, negotiation or implementation of medical technology or equipment from healthcare vendors or suppliers. All hospital- and vendor-identifying information will be anonymous. Select stories will be published on MD Buyline’s blog for Supply Chain Horror Stories from October 29 to October 31. Also during this time, MD Buyline will announce the winners.

In addition to sharing challenging purchasing decisions, MD Buyline will provide best practices for hospitals to leverage when faced with similar circumstances.
